Free webinars on xAPI and the 70:20:10 learning model

xAPI and 70:20:10

xAPI is an exciting new way of tracking and recording learning. We see it as being a key technology to enable the 70:20:10 learning model.

We have two FREE webinars coming up on xAPI and 70:20:10 that we are running in collaboration with Leo Gaggi from Brightcookie.

Webinar 1: What is xAPI?

This will be an interactive discussion on xAPI. If xAPI is new to you then this will be a great introduction.

Webinar 2: xAPI and the 70:20:10 framework

About the facilitators

Cheryle Walker (Sprout Labs)
Cheryle is a Learning Consultant with a progressive and innovative approach. In previous projects she has challenged the functionality of the modern LMS, and has an interest in developing more open and flexible ways of creating and analysing learner interactions.

Leo Gaggi (Brightcookie)
Leo is Director of Brightcookie. Brightcookie developed an open source xAPI Learning Record Store called lxHive. They have begun to work with a number of organisations on how xAPI can be applied, including how it can be used to track social learning.

Robin Petterd (Sprout Labs)
Robin is lead Learning Consultant at Sprout Labs. Sprout Labs has been working with a number of clients on how xAPI can be used to track learning interactions that are not delivered on an LMS.

Please note that we don’t record these sessions as they are highly interactive, and participants like to share their own experiences in the discussion.
